Dr. Michael Rue has been practicing dentistry since 1975 – earning his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the University of Oregon.
Through his extensive experience in dental work, he has spent two years as a dentist in the US Navy, five years in Southern Oregon with his own practice, and five years in Malawi, Africa where he led a mission team to establish a dental clinic. For the past 23 years, he has proudly served the Vancouver community.
Dr. Rue is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA) and the Seattle Study Club. He has a strong interest in continuing dental education and works actively with Clark Community College in the Dental Assistant and Dental Hygiene programs. He also serves as a mentor in the Gordon J. Christensen Practical Clinical Courses.
When he is not at the office, Dr. Rue enjoys hiking, traveling and spending time with his family.
